Design
It all starts with creating a sneaker design.
Designers imagine and design the model taking into account trends, functionality and style.
Patronage
Once the design is established, patterns are created.
These are paper or fabric cutting templates that serve as a guide for cutting out the different parts of the shoe.
Cutting
The different parts of the sneaker, such as the upper, the lining , the reinforcements and the sole , are cut from the appropriate materials, such as leather, fabric or synthetic.
Assembly + Mounting
The different parts of the sneaker are assembled.
The upper is sewn or glued using specific techniques.
Reinforcements and other structural elements are also added to strengthen the shoe.
The outsole is usually made of rubber or a similar material and is attached to the upper using grip or stitching techniques.
Finishing and pampering
The finishing touches, whether decorative details or laces, are done at this stage. The shoes may also be cleaned, polished and inspected to ensure optimum quality. This stage is called pampering.
